I recently spent ten unforgettable days at the Residence Pietre Bianche in Pizzo, and it was pure bliss. First off, the location was perfect for our Mediterranean road trip; we had a rental car to explore the stunning coast, but local trains were also nearby. The apartments were spacious, featuring a sea-view terrace - perfect for sipping espresso in the mornings! One of the highlights was the stunning pool area, which we often had to ourselves, and I made good use of the laundry facilities after our daily adventures. Francesco and Pino, the staff, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, even stepping up on their day off! In the evenings, it was lovely to stroll down to the local beach, just minutes away. Pizzo itself was charming; it felt like we were getting a taste of authentic Italian life. I have to say, I'd definitely return to this beautiful spot with friends or family - the warm hospitality and relaxed atmosphere made it feel like home away from home.
